Our students dived into hands-on learning as they explored forces, buoyancy, mass and material properties in their science lessons. Using recycled materials brought from home, they designed and built their own rafts, bringing our sustainability ethos to life in a meaningful way.

They then put their creations to the test in an exciting pool race, predicting which designs would float best and evaluating their stability in action. It was a brilliant mix of scientific thinking, creativity and teamwork… and a perfect way to cool down in the heat!
