• Tuesday 17 February 2026 Happy Lunar New Year On February 13th, our three campuses came alive with joy as we celebrated the Year of the Horse. The day was filled with vibrant lion dances, mesmerising student performances, delicious food booths, and interactive activities. • Friday 13 February 2026 We are honored to receive the Diversity and Inclusion Award at the Lao Responsible Business awards 2026 This recognition reflects our commitment to building a vibrant, inclusive community representing more than 40 nationalities. At PBIS, diversity is not just something we celebrate. it’s something we live every day. Our impact goes beyond the classroom through meaningful CSR initiatives led by our Student Council, showing how young people can create real change within a caring and supportive environment. More than simply a recognition, we hope this award inspires other organisations to act with compassion and responsibility. • Thursday 12 February 2026 Thank you to all Year 9 parents and students who attended our recent Options Information Evening The session provided guidance on choosing 𝐈𝐆𝐂𝐒𝐄 subjects and explained how these choices link to both our A Level academic pathway and our 𝐁𝐓𝐄𝐂 vocational pathway, each designed to support students towards university and future careers. Families were also reminded of key next steps, including taster lessons, option form deadlines and upcoming one-to-one guidance meetings to support every student in making informed decisions about their future.
• Wednesday 11 February 2026 PBIS EARLY YEAR SPORTS DAY Bright smiles and joyful laughter filled our Early Years Sports Day as children took part in a range of physical activities. Our young learners showed growing confidence, determination, and positive sportsmanship as they ran, jumped, and played together. The day was made even more meaningful by the involvement of parents, who joined in to cheer, encourage, and take part alongside their children. These shared experiences highlighted the strong partnership between home and school. At PBIS, Sports Day supports key Early Learning Goals, particularly in Physical Development and Personal, Social, and Emotional Development. • Wednesday 4 February 2026 PRIMARY SPORTS DAY IN ACTION Our Primary Sports Day gave students the chance to take part, work as a team and challenge themselves. From races to group activities, children showed determination, cooperation and respect throughout the day. • Monday 2 February 2026 SUPPORTING THE LAO FOOD FESTIVAL Panyathip British International School was honoured to support the Lao Food Festival 2026, organised by the Lao Business Women’s Association (LBWA). Our students had the opportunity to perform a special choir performance and participate in a traditional Lao food cooking activity. It was a perfect way to celebrate Laos’ rich cultural heritage while engaging in meaningful, hands-on learning. • Friday 30 January 2026 LEARNING FROM A GLOBAL CULTURE LEADER: DR.STEVE AROUNSACK ON CAMPUS We were pleased to welcome Dr.Steve Arounsack, Lead Cultural Adviser at Disney and a member of the Southeast Asia Story Trust Group, to visit three of our PBIS campuses. During his visit, Dr.Steve Arounsack spoke with students about storytelling and creativity, sharing examples from his work and explaining how stories help people understand the world and each other.The sessions encouraged students to think more carefully about the stories they tell, where ideas come from and how culture and personal experiences shape creativity. Many left feeling more confident about sharing their own ideas and curious about how stories can be used to communicate meaning, not just entertainment. The visit was a positive and memorable experience for our students and staff, offering inspiration, practical insight and a reminder that creativity has a place in every learner’s journey.
