Year 4 River Explorer
In their IPC Science lesson, our Year 4 students became river explorers! Working in groups, they built rivers in the sandpit at the Early Years campus, complete with sources, meanders, confluences, flood plains, and mouths. They observed erosion wearing away the sand in some places and deposition building it up in others.
This hands-on adventure brought river processes to life and showed how rivers shape the land. Great work, Year 4 and Teacher Judy.
